A little bit of bad news on the brewing front, MOLD!!!!!!

I got to day five of my fermentation and no fermentation.  I opened up the bucket to take a peek and I had a half dozen little blossoms of mold floating on the top.   I sanitized all my fermentators and cleaned all of my pots the way I always do, but I must not have gotten my wort chiller cleaned and sanitized well enough.

Back to it….  I had to dump it, weep weep weep.  Scrubbed everything out, sanitize the buckets and re-cleaned my wort chiller and make sure that it is sanitized better than before.

I guess this is how we learn.  sometimes you tend to get lacks in your routine because you don’t have problems and then this happens.  Lesson learned!!
