Firefox vs. IE and Safari
Let me start this one off with the fact that I am a MAC user and always will be, so I haven’t used Internet Explorer all that much.
From what I read on the message boards on Wordpress, there are a lot of people having problems with IE, at least when it comes to viewing blog pages. That is the main extent of my run ins with IE. I have used a couple of times, at least the MAC version and I just wasn’t impressed. Also the fact that is primarily a Windows based browser and why would a Mac person use anything PC based??
I have for the last couple of years been using mainly Safari for my browsing and on occasion Firefox. As of late I have switched completely over to Firefox. I don’t know what they are doing with the programing for it , but Safari has really lost my support. It would take forever to load a very simple page or sometimes the page wouldn’t even load and the app. would just shut down. I got fed up when Safari would shut down on me 3-4 times in a day. I am using it on a laptop that is 8 years old and I am running OSX, older version, and on a desktop that is running the most current version, still problems on both.
Firefox on the other hand has been running nearly flawlessly. I had one shutdown yesterday, the first since I have been using it, and even then when I restarted the App. it asked me if I wanted to start a new session or did I want to go back to the original one, NICE!!!. Granted, I do have an affiliate link on my page for everyone to click on, but that is not really the source of this rant. I have been going through the validation process for my blog where a company is finding all of the programming errors in my blog. These errors are what causes IE to have problems loading blog pages, unless I can figure out all of the problems and get them fixed, hahahahahaha, sorry lost it there for a second. These little programming errors don’t typically cause problems in Firefox.
So, Why would anyone want to go on using inferior browsing programs??
I don’t know, but I know that I am going to stay with Firefox and try to spread the good word about Firefox.
