I just recently got the soundtrack for the movie Black Snake Moan from the library. I just had to get to give it a listen because for one thing how often do you get to hear Samuel L. Jackson sing the blues?? Secondly the Black Keys are one there, excellent group from Akron, OH.

To tell you the truth, the movie looked a little disturbing to me. Now I’m not one to shy away from disturbing movies, but this one, I don’t know. I’d probably get it from the library and it would be a good movie.

The soundtrack looked very intriguing with S. Jackson and the Black Keys. Very good CD. A++++ and if you haven’t listened to the Black Keys, you’re really missing out. Two man group that has the sound of a full band, you just can’t believe that this sound is coming out two 20 something guys from Akron. Who knew that Samuel L. Jackson could sin, much less delta blues. Thumbs up to Mr. Jackson!!
