I just watched the newest Bond, Casino Royale (2-Disc Widescreen Edition), flick the other night and thoroughly enjoyed. I couldn’t have cared less that the new Bond was a blonde, like everyone was all upset over. I had seen Daniel Craig in other movies and thought he was a good actor.

I think Craig brings a little grittier feel to Bond. He brings I think a little more believability to the stunts performed. Don’t get me wrong I liked all of the previous Bond movies, but when James Bond is looking a little bit flabby or just as not fit and he is doing all the incredible stunts, it just gets a little too far fetched. Daniel Craig was more believable doing the stunts.

I think the part that probably got me the most was the torture scenes. Whoever thought those up, eeeeesh!!! It almost got to unbearable. It was just a brutal form of torture and it was a very gritty and cringing scene.

I would give it two thumbs up for anyone who is a Bond fan if you haven’t already scene it and also for anyone who just wants a good action flick and you’re not a bond fan.
