Let’s here it for the Thirsty Dog Brewing Co. coming back to NE Ohio. It has been too long.

I had spent many an evening at the bar, when it was in Canton, nursing a Siberian Night and throwing darts…good times….good times.

I was a very sad “pup” when the brewpubs closed, but the sky’s are opening up and good times are on the horizon.

According to the Beacon Journal from early April, they are opening up in the old Burkhardt Brewing Co. building on Grant St. in Akron. Its just a little interesting that they are opening up in the same town as their ex-brewmasters new brewery… interesting. I’m glad to hear that they are at least going to have a tasting room, I can’t wait to have their fantastic beers on tap. For some reason they kind of lost something in bottle. the Siberian isn’t bad but the Leghumper definately lost a lot of its punch in the bottle. As we all know microbrews are always better on tap.
